Calgary IITians

Calgary IITians is an association of IITians living in Calgary and area. The association provides a platform for IITians to connect with each other socially. Together we aspire to play a role in the development of the community we live in. 

Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are reputed educational institutions of India. A total of 23 IITs have been set up across the country to nurture and guide Indian talent. IIT graduates are known as IITians. In addition to engineering, IITians are contributing in many diverse fields, including literature, politics, acting, and film production.

Calgary IITians started in 2015. Our motto is ज्ञानम् जगत् हिताय. The phrase is in Sanskrit. It translates in English as - KNOWLEDGE FOR THE WELL BEING OF THE WORLD.

We are aware that our success is owing to the gifts that we received from the community. In return the association is committed to creating a better community.
